Not the Ritz by any stretch but very quaint did the job. The staff and owner were very friendly and more than accommodating when other hotels and motels in the area were trying to make out like bandits over charging. Would definitely stay there again just because of the friendliness.
This place must have new management. When I found out which hotel my friend booked for our stay in Sandusky, all the bad reviews really freaked me out. But it turned out great. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, TV reception was good, all the amenities were there and the manager was really sweet and friendly. I had read some review on another site that said it had a bathtub with no shower--not true. It was cheap and everything was fine.
When we pulled up it was kind of a 2nd thought but we checked in and went about our business. When we returned in the evening it was quiet. The man at the check in was so pleasant and friendly. The bed was amazingly comfortable and for an idle notel it was very clean. I would stay again. Never judge a book by its cover and it was so reasonably priced for a weekend during summer time in sandusky.
This was a clean and quiet place located close to Cedar Point. We got a room with 3 twin beds for 2 nights for $250 out the door. Not a bad price. No continental breakfast or anywhere offering coffee though. And i Was dissapointed due to time constraints we didnt get an opportunity to swim. As their outdoor pool looked very inviting. The 10:45 check out time was a bit odd though.
Older place..has had some new update to the rooms ..new carpet tables beds..paint..for a old motel .it's pretty nice now.. Cash the owner is the best he is a good guy . he is a fare honest man...thank you Cash for all u do..
Stayed here for pointfest. It is only 8 min from cedar point. Super cheap! Nothing fancy, just what we were looking for after being at cedar point all day. Owner/manager was really nice
It's nothing fancy and the wifi didn't work but it was quiet and the man working in the office was very polite. We had an issue with our t.v not working, but he came to fix it right away.
